Simple and understated but bursting with oodles of Mediterranean charm, this apartment is the definition of a Spanish getaway. Situated in Almayate Alto, a province of Malaga in the Andalusian hinterland, this pad boasts mighty mountain views from the private terrace. We especially love the thought of waking in the morning, preparing our first brew of the day, and then stepping out onto that lovely balcony to feel the sun beat gently down upon our skin, gazing one way towards the sea, and then another to admire the verdant hills and majestic crests of the mountain ranges beyond. Make the most of the sunshine and head over to the shared pool area to catch some rays or simply while away an hour or two chatting with the other residents. Fancy venturing off the complex? The stunning surrounding area is filled with great hiking and biking opportunities, so you'll have every chance to get out there and explore the striking natural beauty of the Spanish countryside. The nearest beach is also 3 kilometres away – perfect for a day by the coast.
