We recommend evenings sprawled out with a cup of coffee and a good book, but not before spending the entire day outside where the real magic happens.

Step out after putting together a quick breakfast at the kitchen island, and spend the day alternating between sunbathing in the sunloungers and cooling back down with a quick dip in the crystal clear pool. Pass lazy afternoons simply admiring the view until it’s time to light the barbecue. Grill vegetable skewers as part of your Mediterranean feast and dine alfresco with a few bottles of good wine.

Although there’s plenty of potential to break away for a bit of you-time – read in the egg chairs or sit on the private balcony leading out from your room – there’s also plenty for the whole group to do together. Schedule a family movie night in the cinema room, or hit the games area together for a friendly competition of pool, table tennis, and table football.

When you want to explore the area, travel just over a mile to Mijas where you’ll find restaurants, shops and cafes. Head to the golf course, embark on a hiking trail, or head to the beach by car.
