Sitting on the top of a recently constructed building in the centre of Málaga, this apartment makes the most of its elevated position with not just one, but two terraces on which you bask in Andalusia's famously agreeable climate.
One of these faces in a south-easterly direction, which gets the sun in the morning, while the other lies to the northwest, getting plenty of light from midday onwards. As if this ample supply of Vitamin D wasn't enough, guests also get access to a communal swimming pool in the building's courtyard, just in case you're ever in need of a cooldown at any point.
It's plain to see that this is an address that values the alfresco way of life, but the interior hasn't been neglected either. The white walls and wooden floors make for a bright and welcoming feel, and there's an uncluttered and minimalist approach to furnishings and finishes – we're big fans of the super-sleek monochrome kitchen, for instance.
We should also mention that the location is excellent for those who want to see the city's best bits. The Old Town starts about five minutes away on foot and features everything from the Picasso Museum to the Renaissance-style cathedral. The golden sands of Playa la Malagueta only take twenty minutes to reach, as well.
Home truths: *There's a lift in the building to reach this single-level apartment on the third floor
*The communal swimming pool is open between 10am and 10pm
*Groups of young people aged twenty-one or under are not permitted to visit
