Sitting in the middle of Málaga's old town on the same street as the Picasso Museum, this apartment is a wonderful mix of generous proportions, contemporary design and plentiful natural light. The open-concept living space has the effortless elegance of a high-end hotel suite, thanks to the large pieces of artwork, chic furnishings and six-metre-high ceilings, but the best bit lies just beyond – a small sunroom with seating and views of the city's cathedral. As well as that, guests are treated to a monochrome kitchen that is a lot larger than might be expected from an apartment with only one bedroom. The sleek bathroom and bold print wallpaper in the bedroom both score equally as high in the style stakes, too. Although the home itself would be worthy of praise regardless of the location, the fact that it's surrounded by landmarks and attractions is another massive perk. On the same street, you'll find the Renaissance-style cathedral in one direction and the Picasso Museum a minute's walk in the other direction. It also only takes a quarter of an hour to reach Malagueta Beach, too.
