Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Malaga's Pedregalejo neighbourhood is best known for being right by the coast, so if sun and sand are on your to-do list, this is the place to be. You'll find this cheery home just 50 metres from the beach, making it perfectly placed for afternoons spent swimming in the waves. But the brilliant location isn't the only reason we like this pad – one glance at the roof terrace and you'll see why it caught our eye. Bathed in all-day sunshine and boasting views of the ocean and mountains, it's a sweet spot to kick back, relax and soak up that fresh air. Mornings start up there with a cup of coffee and end with a glass of the region's sweet white wine, watching as the sky fades to black. Downstairs, a bright living area is where you can gather come evening-time, enjoying tapas around the dining table and stretching out on the sofa. Both bedrooms are equally stylish and comfortable – for a family getaway, we think this works nicely. And while being close to the coast is pretty blissful, there's more to this area than just the sea. It's buzzing with neighbourhood restaurants and waterfront eateries, and it's mostly home to locals – for a taste of authentic Malaga life, we can't think of a better postcode. It may be a little further from the historic city centre – about 5km – but with frequent buses in the area, we don't think you'll mind.

About La Malagueta
Located close to the port, in years gone by this neighbourhood used to be a fishing community. It also housed a shipyard, sugar factories and wine cellars, but later, after the construction of some iconic buildings including La Malagueta Bullring, wealthy families started building their homes here. You can see some examples on Paseo de Reding today – the Parisian-style Palacio de la Tinta is a highlight. We can see...
