Located in Cómpeta and surrounded by the Sierra Almijara mountains, this charming villa is an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. You’ll need a car here to reach to the hiking trails and coast, though you’ll also find shops and local restaurants within walking distance. The villa itself is a little dated and has a few steps, so may not suit those with limited mobility. However, with an inviting ambience, breathtaking views, a patio for soaking up the sun, a pool for refreshing in and lounging spots for sharing cocktails – it’s a comfortable spot to call home.

*The décor here is on the simpler side and the aesthetics are not up to Plum Guide's usual standards – we've made an exception to let this one into the collection on account of its great location. We think some areas could do with a refresh, the bathrooms look a little dated.
*This home is spread over two floors. Though there are two ground-floor bedrooms and a bathroom, there are steps around the home which may not be the best option for those with limited mobility.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
