Tucked away in the Andalusian countryside, this characterful villa may not be near the beach, but the mountain panoramas are picture-perfect. There are plenty of sunny and shady spots here to admire the scenery. One of our favourites is the private pool, while the outdoor sofas are ideal for siestas in the sun. This is an older home, so the layout is quirky. The bedrooms are accessed via terraces on different levels – with that in mind, it might be better suited to groups of friends or families with older children. The nearest town is Coín, fifteen minutes by car, but with views like that, we don't blame you if you keep the adventures to a minimum.
Home truths: *The bedrooms are located on the two lower levels, so stairs are required. They each have external access and en-suite bathrooms. There's also a WC by the pool with outdoor access.
*While we like this home's character, some may find the interior a little dated. A few of the terraces also look a little tired as do the tiles in the bathrooms. It may not suit everyone's tastes.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot and high chair on request. The pool is unfenced, so little ones will need to be supervised at all times.
*Due to the remote location, hiring a car is recommended. There's private parking here for up to three cars.
