Fantastic roof terrace but unfortunately too much hassle. Couldn't park nearby, the TV didn't work the first week, no hot water the last few days, the lock box didn't work, a light in the kitchen fan broken, the fire alarm battery dead.

We rented this house because it seemed to be well located and close to the beach. The first thing to note is that the house is next to the castle, in the old quarter of Almuñécar. It is full of hills, CARS ARE NOT ALLOWED (so you cannot take your luggage there and then look for parking) and there are no bars or restaurants nearby. The description of "200 m from the beach" is not true. Walking is at least 10 minutes and you have to go around a long way. Parking is impossible. I do not recommend it.
