There are many highlights of this home, but the cosy terrace with incredible views of Table Mountain is the jewel in its crown. Inspiring and mesmerising, it adds a magical allure to the chic outside space.

We imagine that outside space is where you'll spend most of your time. Whether it's sharing a pot of coffee for breakfast, tasting some biltong for lunch or watching the orange hues of sunset disappear beneath the mountain.

The chic style of the terrace continues once inside the home. Authentically African artwork hangs on the walls and rustic artefacts are dotted around the living room.

The living room – adorned in comfy sofas and facing the TV – leads to a contemporary kitchen and breakfast bar. You can open the patio doors to the terrace and sit on the stools to replicate beach bar vibes.

If you wanted to visit an actual beach bar, there are many lined across the shoreline at Camps Bay. But mosey around slightly more locally and you'll find a nexus of restaurants, cafes and bars around the vibey streets of De Waterkant.
