The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining seating for four guests and a sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a mezzanine-style king-size with en-suite cloakroom, a ground-floor king-size with en-suite bathroom, along with a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is a shared rear garden with lawn and furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 2.3 miles you will find a shop and within 2.2 miles, a pub and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Old Schoolhouse is a superb base from which to explore all that Scotland has to offer. Note: The mezzanine space is not suitable for children, it is recommended that they sleep downstairs. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out at 10am.

The famous 'Road to the Isles' finishes in Mallaig, a bustling and thriving fishing village, popular with visitors who wish to soak up the atmosphere of a working fishing port, whilst enjoying the full range of shops and restaurants that it has to offer. Mallaig is a great gateway to the Isle of Skye with a ferry running across the Minch throughout the year. Mallaig is also the last stop for the famous Jacobite steam train, as featured in the Harry Potter movies, which follows the road to the Isles from Fort William to Mallaig and back again, a stunning journey passing through some of the best scenery in Scotland.
