The place decor is amazing classic but modern feel cottage amazing location and views stayed here for three nights and nothing was not to much trouble. The food in the main hotel is defently a yes and a friendly peaceful atmosphere to enjoy a nice pint with friends

This home is clean and well presented with lovely big kitchen, plenty hand and bath towels etc but sadly the servicing and other aspects were very poor. There were insufficient cooking dishes for a party of ten, one tea towel, no garlic press, no potato peeler. On request we were promised the tea towels but after two days none were provided and I had to ask again and then two more were provided. Biggest issue was that the patio door leading to the hot tub was stuck fast and we had to trek round from the back door on stones to get there. This was so inconvenient and way below what we expected. We were told a joiner would come to fix it…. None did and it was clear to us this was not a recent fault. The hot tub itself was a good temperature but got dirty very quickly as it is positioned directly below shrubs! The maintenance was sporadic and we doubt if it had the daily care it needed. As for te sauna mentioned, well it is shared with the glencoe inn, so not private as is implied in the blurb about the property. Staff were very courteous and appeared interested in hearing of our complaints but sadly did little to remedy the issues. For this reason we would not recommend this house. Such a shame as we are loyal customers to Crerar and use their Isle of Mull hotel regularly and expected the same standards. We had paid £3500 for a week for ten of us ( peak season at start of Scottish school summer holidays) so they gave us 10% back as way of apology but it doesn’t change our frustration. Not what a holiday is for! Please Crerar …. sort this out asap or it will not be worth your investment in the place!
