  • "Very warm & cosy cottage considering we had a wide variety of Scottish winter to contend with!"

Great space for family get-together with open fire in lounge and big farmhouse table to play games & have meals together. Lovely area for walks from front door to Polwarth Church and Marchmont House, quiet country roads and tracks to wander on. Having a piano was good fun for kids even if a bit painful for adults (& piano). A nice welcome from Rachel & welcome goodies appreciated, good communication on the few occasions we needed to get in touch. A few areas where a bit of general maintenance and decoration would have been beneficial and a note left re some minor repairs needed.

Thanks for the great feedback and I’m so pleased you enjoyed your stay. It was great having you, exploring the local area and looking after the cottage so beautifully. We closed for a couple of weeks in January to redecorate some of the rooms and get on top of the snags; thanks for reporting them. Property Owner
