Kelso s historic market town and racecourse offer a fun day out, with fishing on the Tweed and great places to eat. The Pennine Way ends in nearby Kirk Yetholm (5 miles) with many paths leading on from there. Discover historic Berwick (17 miles), the stunning coastline, plus Holy Island (20 miles), Bamburgh (25 miles) and Alnwick (30 miles). Step up two shallow steps into this warm and cosy cottage with underfloor heating throughout making it an inviting option all year round. Enter the utility/boot room where you can sit down to pull off your walking boots and hang outdoor clothing, and there is also a useful washing machine and sink here. A door off this room leads to a WC. Head into the bright and airy open plan lounge kitchen/diner with rounded stone wall features adding to the character.
