If you’re after something seriously special for a group stay, this Perthshire Renaissance-style mansion could be it. The 19th-century estate features a sweeping double staircase, a library, a grand drawing room, and a dining hall that seats over thirty. Four separate accommodations also offer extra privacy. Outside, the grounds include a pond, centuries-old oaks, and sightings of Highland cows and red squirrels. Set in the countryside, it feels peaceful and private, but you’re only fifteen minutes from the historic city of Perth, with its boutique shops and fine dining. Dundee, St Andrews and Cairngorms National Park are all within an hour, too. With such a regal base, though, you might just want to stay at home and soak up the grandeur.
