From the doorstep, you can explore a plethora of walking trails over the hills, moorland and hill lochs and in the nearby villages on Glenisla and Glenshee you can even try your hand at some rock climbing and canoeing at the centres nearby. Blairgowrie is a 20 minute drive away and is a great place to spend the day shopping, enjoying good food and is also home to some beautiful wildlife such as osprey, beavers and swans.
