The house is one of a handful of cottages on a quiet road on the outskirts of Whiting Bay, just 500 metres from a store and a mile to the village centre.

There's plenty on offer locally including an art gallery, cafe and summer events in the hall, and it's a 500 metre stroll down to the sandy shore. Pack up a picnic and take a walk along the coast to King's Cross Point, around a mile away, for great sea vistas and views of Holy Isle with its lighthouse and private Buddhist retreat.
