This wonderfully converted 19th century cottage can be found in the small village of Tarskavaig. Walkers regularly follow a route past the house to access the small and secluded sandy bay, a wonderful spot for dog walking or relaxing. Take in beautiful views of Rum, Eigg and Canna islands whilst there. Walk along the coast to the ruins of Dunscaith Castle for more of these stunning views, or head across the bay for Spar Cave. Under 10 miles you'll find yourself at the less ruined Armadale Castle with beautiful gardens to enjoy, and the Torabhaig Distillery can also be visited on this side of the island. Head to local village Arvasar for a pub, restaurant and shops. Enter into the open plan living space on the ground floor and immediately notice the vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams and original stone walls, all nicely contrasted with contemporary furnishings and bright colours. Large skylights allow light to flood into the property. To one side of the room, the lounge centres around a TV/DVD player, perfect for a cosy night in. To rustle up that romantic dinner for two, the kitchen can be found to the other side of the room on a unique mezzanine style platform. This stylish kitchen boasts a fridge with ice box, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Settle into the small dining table or make use of the larger dining area in the centre of the room. Downstairs you'll find a spacious double bedroom and modern shower room with WC and towel heating radiator. The bedroom has patio doors leading out onto the garden. The garden offers both a gravel drive and lawn, with outdoor picnic furniture for enjoying food and drinks on summer evenings. Parking for one car is available on site.
