Great comms with the owner, who was attentive and helpful.. The house was lovely - a perfect location for exploring the whole island, great views and cosy. The range of games was great too for fun family evenings. The kitchen was superbly equipped- the best we’ve experienced in our many years of self catering holidays! A couple of negatives were the bottom sheet in the front double bedroom was covered in hairs - not sure if human or animal. Thankfully there was a spare sheet in the airing cupboard. Secondly, the house was dusty - windowsills, the lamps, skirtings etc. These things in no way hampered our enjoyment but were a little disappointing.

A 4 bedroom bungalow with good facilities in central location for exploring the Isle of Skye. Nice relaxing area with natural garden with stream.

The accommodation was perfect for three ladies on a walking holiday.. Ideally situated to reach both South and North of the island. It was clean and spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay. Each of us had our own room and I certainly had a very comfortable bed, with plenty of room to store my clothes.

For the price this cottage exceeds what you would expect to get in Skye.. It is perfectly located between the two towns of Broadford and Portree with the Sligachan Hotel just a few miles away. The bedrooms are spacious although the single bed was very uncomfortable. Everything we could need for a wintery week in Skye was available in the cottage.

Wow - move right into this home from home holiday cottage. Well equipped, great location, beautiful views. Close to the main road but little noise from it. Walking distance to the Isle Of Raasay ferry. Quiet peaceful yet only a few miles to the shops... Spacious cottage - photos capture the space well and reality meets if not exceeds the description.

Fantastic cottage and so well equipped.. Great location and views from all angles. Lovely little garden with the odd summer surprise fruit bush ....... Cottage lived up to the listing and for once genuinely lived up to the promise of what was seen in the advertising. Almost like home from home. Initial impression - could move in and live long term let alone for a holiday.

13 Sconser was clean, well located, and well equipped.. The views are amazing and the garden is quite lovely. The landlord was very kind to assist by prompt email with a travel issue we had which didn't relate to our rental. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting Skye.

Absolutely love this house, this was our second time staying here and it is definitely value for money what you get and location.. The only thing we would say is the mattress’s are very springy and on 2 of the beds can make it uncomfortable when sleeping. But everyone’s different to what they like

Perfect central location for exploring the island.. Very warm and cosy but very spacious. Well equipped in the kitchen plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Garden might be a bit tricky for toddlers Beautiful views from house across to Raasay. Brilliant kitchen add on porch for all the wet or dirty walking gear too which helps. I would certainly book this location again for a return trip.

We loved the cottage , it's very spacious and even bigger than we thought from the listing.. We took this holiday over New year and the house was very well heated! The location is very convenient, as it is mid-way between Broadford and Portree so one can get anywhere on Skye quite easily. It's also just opposite the ferry to Raasay, which gave us the opportunity to visit it and even drive up to Calum's road.

We stayed here in March of this year with my fiancé, mother in law and pup. It was such a beautiful and comfortable home to stay in truly a home away from home. It was the perfect spot for our trip to celebrate my mother in laws 60th and see all the sites. The whole house was gorgeously decorated. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the bed we had as it was a spring mattress but I am known in family as the princess and the pea so it can be hard to please me when it comes to beds. Apart from that we had such a wonderful stay, having the lovely garden for our pup to be able to play in and a comfortable living room to chill out in at the end of the night. We will definitely be back and hopefully soon. Thank you to the wonderful owners they were great and answered any questions we had.

13 Sconser is a well situated & very reasonably priced dog-friendly cottage perfect for groups of family/friends that wish to explore the Isle of Skye. Staying in 13 Sconser for a week of walking in March 2017 I could not recommend 13 Sconser highly enough for any intrepid mountaineers/walkers that wish to conquer the Cuillins. The cottage is very well stocked with: - A large kitchen/dining area - A strong WiFi connection - A good collection of board games The one suggestion would be that a second bathroom would be a welcome addition for showers/baths at the end of a long day walking.

I have just returned from a week staying in this cottage. It was a real home from home, very comfortable. The cottage is spacious bright and cozy. There is a washing machine which proved to be a real godsend as we managed to get wet and muddy a few times. The wifi is excellent much to the delight of our 13 year old who couldn't wait to return to the cottage at the end of each day to avail herself of it.The cottage has a lovely outlook looking out over the bay with a small stream in the garden.we really enjoyed our stay here
