This grand Highland lodge is steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Inverness-shire countryside. Inside, you’ll find elegant reception rooms, a traditional kitchen with an electric Aga, and beautifully restored period details. Built in 1870 by Lord Arbinger as a fishing lodge for Inverlochy Castle, it’s the perfect base for salmon fishing, scenic walks, or simply curling up by the fire. Outside, five acres of private grounds invite lazy afternoons, riverside strolls, and stargazing beneath wide Scottish skies. Granted, you’ll need a car to get the best from your stay. But with total freedom to explore a dramatic, film-worthy landscape of glens, lochs and ancient castles, it's more than worth it.

*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s off-road parking at the property.
*We think some areas of this home could do with a refresh. In particular, the bathrooms look a little tired.
*Three well-behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you during your stay. Please ensure they stay downstairs and kept off the sofas.
