Having previously atayed here, we went back for another holiday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Alfie, the resident labrador. The chalet was very clean with various utensils in the kitchen, that meant I could cook meals rather than eat out each day. Various birds on the feeders along with the red squirrels. First sighting of a pine martin who paid us 2 visits, eating the nuts just outside the kitchen window. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, Kevin and Sharon. Thankyou for such a relaxing time. We will definitely return.

We spent an enjoyable week at Torbreck Chalet which was very clean, well equipped and cosy. It is in a peaceful and secluded location with amazing walks right from the door and in the surrounding area. There was plenty of wildlife to entertain us too. Kevin and Sharon were friendly and helpful and we hope to return.

Wow, what a location, the chalet is superbly equipped with everything you need for an active holiday or just lazzing around. Situated in the forest, Red squirrels are regular visitors to the nut feeders along with resident Woodpeckers, tree creepers and numerous small birds. Also a short drive to Kingussie in one direction and Aviemore in the other. The veiws from the Cairgorms are second to none. If watersports is your bag then Loch Insh is 2ish miles down the road. Then there's the owners, what a lovely couple, nothing is to much trouble. They also have an adorable and friendly chocokate labrador.

What a place to stay! Lovely quiet location, an ideal place to relax. The dog friendly chalet offers you everything required for a holiday. The owners chocolate labrador, Alfie, is friendly and greets you like a long lost friend. With chairs around the garden, observing the bird life and red Squirrels is easy. They even feed just outside the kitchen window! Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, Kevin and Sharon, throughout our stay. Highly recommended. Will certainly be booking for another holiday.

We have just spent the most wonderful week at Torbreck Chalet. Gorgeous scenery, the most kind and lovely owners Kevin and Sharon , ideal location for exploring the beautiful Cairngorms. The chalet was absolutely spotless with everything you could possibly need. The bed was so comfy and I especially enjoyed getting up early to watch the red squirrels at the feeders on the tree outside the chalet. Our dog Jaffa had a great time playing with Alfie (the super friendly chocolate lab) and the doggy welcome pack was a great and thoughtful touch. We are going to miss this place and we will definitely return in the future. We wish Kevin and Sharon all the best for the rest of the season. Love Louise Justin and Jaffa

Excellent self catering lodge with all mod cons. Isolated in the woods for true tranquillity. Loved my stay and will be back. 1 double bed room but also has a double sofa bed in lounge to allow 4 to stay. Dog friendly
