“This cottage was absolutely fabulous.” Everything as described and more. There is also a washer dryer which was not stated on the website so this was a bonus as I travelled very light with just a cabin bag. Extra items in the cupboards-some clothes washing liquid, washing up liquid, salt.oil-little extras that possibly others left behind. We did the same-it always help the next person staying. Towels and tea towels provided and also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. hoover and mop etc too so no excuse not to clean up. The cooker took a bit of figuring out so we phoned the owner who is extremely helpful. I'm used to gas rather than electric so it took too much figuring out. Bottle of wine and some milk on our arrival along with a bunch of flowers. Tea and coffee had been left so we could have a much needed cuppa. Back garden very secluded and has washing line. Big pile of leaflets and maps in the lounge. We used Jacobite tours for Loch Ness and Happy Tours for a day to Glencoe There is a Wetherspoons in town and a few places with nightly music. I would definitely recommend this accomodation. It was a 15 minute walk into town for an average walker and 20 mins for me as I am a slow plodder. Lidl just up the road-5 mins walk-Aldi on the way to town-10 mins walk Property is easy to find on walking back from town-we walked everywhere. A bit noisy in the front bedroom on a Friday night but that is to be expected in the city. Nothing too bad. Do follow the River Ness on the side of the castle up to the "islands"-it is absolutely beautiful up there. (The sports centre and ice rink in same direction) Bus station in centre of town-costs £4.50 to get from airport to town. We booked a taxi for our return though-£25-just in case that helps anyone.

Upstairs perfect, great shower but noisy, comfortable beds.. Downstairs not so good. There was a strange smell as soon as we entered the house. We got rid of it with scented candles. The sink was dirty with an old sponge lying in it.There was a loaf of mouldy bread in cupboard. The bar stools had been repaired with black tape, not a good look. One of the chairs had crumbs all over it.All fairly minor things which wouldn't prevent us staying here again. The good points outweighed the bad but there is room for improvement.

Being really picky in saying, maybe a small settee as well as two chairs.. Just for extra comfort. Everything was comfortable though.

Tolle, gut ausgestattete Wohnung, zentrumsnah! Great, well-equipped apartment, close to the city center! The apartment is bright, well equipped and contemporary and offers enough space for a family of four. In the immediate vicinity are various shops (Coop, Lidl, Aldi, B & M), the CIty Center can be reached on foot in just under 15 minutes. In the bedroom with the double bed but should be taken to ensure that only a large (in the UK typical) blanket is available - for Germans rather getting to used! Small drawback: the shower or the fitting of the shower squeaks very loud (it literally shouts), so that everyone in the house notices, if someone takes a shower - could possibly be fixed by the landlord! All in all, the apartment is highly recommended.

Holiday accommodation was very comfortable, clean and cosy.. Great location for walking into the city centre and also close to the Caledonian Canal too. We had chosen this as we were participating in the Baxter’s Loch Ness Running Festival and it proved to a great one. We had a couple of friends staying for a few nights and we still had lots space. Close by we had an Aldi, Lidl and Co-op for any provisions needed with good parking - if required - at all three. Highly recommended if you a looking for a bolt hole in Inverness and wish to enjoy good Higland hospitality on your doorstep.

Holiday home is located north of the River Ness however it is only a 15 minute walk into the city centre and the warm hospitality that the highland ‘Capital’ has to offer. Also close proximity to the Caledonian Canal with an Aldi, Lidl and Co-op close by too. Lovely clean, cosy and comfortable accommodation with one double and one twin room. Everything you needed had been provided - apart from tea towels which I feel was an oversight - such was the standard of other goods. There was tea and coffee available and some fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. A welcoming bottle of Prosecco and some lovely fresh flowers too. A nice touch. We had a wonderful week and had a couple of good friends joined us for a few days too. Highly recommended and hope to visit again in the future to explore more of this lovely Highland area of Scotland.

The "welcome" pack, especially the fresh flowers, was really nice and a lovely and clean place, very well appointed all 'round.. Excellent standard. The street was not "the best", but once in the 3 of us had a fab time and the location was fantastic, so close to Inverness town. Really loved the place and would recomend. Very good broadband, strangely no DVD or CD player with the TV / entertainment, which is unusual, but the solid wood cupboards and furnishings and the kitchin items were a brilliant standard. Unusual too to have a bottle of bubbles to welcome us in, much appreciated!

Good location, we enjoyed being able to walk into town alongside the river. Had a nice meal at 'The waterfront' which is very close. Aldi, Lidl and co-op within 5 mins walk so shopping was easy. We also walked to the Merkinch nature reserve and a circular walk along Caledonian Canal and back along the Ness. It is an older building but inside is bright and modern. Good use of space and quality furnishings. Bathroom has underfloor heating. Had surprisingly good weather and were able to spend some time relaxing in the garden. Flowers, a pint of milk and a bottle of champagne were a lovely welcome.

Cottage is in great location, close to Lidl, Aldi & Co-op shopping, also only 10 min walk to city centre.. Facilities are good, modern kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils, microwave etc. Good sized bedrooms with hanging rails. We enjoyed sitting in the garden during our week of great weather in May. Close to good pub , The Waterfront, good food, we booked for evening meal. Did several walks one to Merkinch nature reserve to sea lock of Caledonia canal at clachnaharry, and along canal to river, Ness islands to castle. Drive around loch Ness via general Wade rd great views. We really enjoyed our stay at cottage, would stay again. When 3 light bulbs blew owner sorted out very promptly. On arrival a welcome pack of milk, fresh flowers and bottle champagne was a delightful surprise.

The house is near to shops to buy food and only 10 minutes to the old town, on the other side you can go to the pretty little landscape at the old ferry pier, perfect! The house was so comfortable, clean, sunny and pretty well, we felt perfectly good there! Flowers on the table and a Prosecco as a welcome. Thanks a lot!!

The front garden could do with a bit 'tidy up'.. Other than that, the house was ideal, absolutely spotless, and a nice touch with the 2 glasses and a bottle of 'fizz'.
