Very comfortable stay with great facilities in the cottage.. Close to most amenities and day excursions. I know that the house is open to dogs and that was expected but the carpet in the livingroom had a covering of dog hair on it. I would expect more thorough cleaning and/or a Hoover in the house that would be capable of picking up the hairs when used by ourselves.

You can tell that this holiday cottage was until 2017 a family home, you really want for nothing here.. By far the best equipped cottage we have stayed at. Very pet friendly and you can tell that the owners are dog lovers. The locals and the nearby Gin Distillery were fantastic at helping us with advice when we arrived, there was a fair bit of snow on the ground and advice was given to drive the wrong way around a one way system to avoid a little hill which was impassable for our car, this did NOT in any way spoil our holiday but made us feel like part of a small community. There were a few items not working in the cottage but we made a note in the maintananc log, again none of this really caused any problems. We have already booked a return visit for November with some family members that have not had a holiday in years. We have no hesitation in recommending Corriemhor Beag to anyone, really loved the place.
