This place has much potential but unfortunately does not pass the test. The rental was dirty and mice were present (saw a mouse in the living room and mice droppings in most of the rooms). While secluded and in a bucolic setting, the house is very close to the highway and the traffic sounds are deafening - especially in the morning. Gardens and porch are overgrown and not desirable. Last, the owner is a rental company - not a real human being - and was poor communicating and not much help.

The holiday home itself was super cozy, very clean and equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Booking, picking up the key in a key box on site and departure were very straightforward. The only small criticism is that we only discovered on site that there is no hiking trail from the house and that you definitely need a car to even get away from the holiday home. Perhaps this could be added to the description.
