Resting within the characterful county of Fife, is the welcoming seaside town of Kinghorn. Providing a superb holiday base for beach lovers, walkers, birdwatchers and golf-lovers alike, this charming town has something for everyone. Within the ancient settlement, you will find two sandy beaches, a sailing club, a high street filled with shops and eateries and a delightful harbour. Fife is often referred to as the home of golf, thanks to its wealth of golf-courses, including Kinghorn’s every own 18-hole links course, offering breath-taking views across the sea and to Edinburgh. A leisurely stroll will bring you to the beach at Pettycur Bay, where you will discover a wide stretch of golden sand which is perfect for walks, relaxing and a number of water sports. North of the town you will find the larger town of Kirkcaldy, which plays host to further amenities and attractions, including Beveridge Park, Ravenscraig Castle and the Victorian Adam Smith Theatre. Further afield, is the capital city of Edinburgh, where you can explore the wonderful blend of the medieval Old Town and the pretty Georgian New Town.
