The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine, a dining room, and a first-floor sitting room with TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link), two doubles, and a ground-floor single, serviced by a bathroom and a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden decking and furniture, and designated parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles. Rosedale is a wonderful home for a Scottish escape to Fife. Note: There are steps throughout the property. Please Note: During the summer/school holidays in the UK the Owner can only accept Saturday - Saturday Bookings.

Area
A town and old royal burgh in Fife, Falkland, is situated amid lovely rolling farmland at the base of the Lomond Hills. Falkland is thought to have been inhabited before the 12th century, but once Falkland Castle was built around 1160, the settlement rose to prominence. The castle is currently located on the grounds of Falkland Palace, which served as King James IV of Scotland's royal residence from 1501 until it was taken up by the National Trust for Scotland. The world's oldest tennis court that is still in operation is located inside the palace on the original genuine tennis court, erected in 1539. The Lomond Hills Regional Park is close by and offers scenic walking trails. The Fife coast, with its assortment of charming fishing communities like Anstruther and Crail, is also must-see.
