There is also an open plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting area. Outside is an enclosed courtyard with hot tub, seating and barbecue. Off-road parking is available. Lapwing Cottage is a perfect family retreat to this idyllic region of Scotland. Please note: If the hot tub is required there is a supplement of £60 per holiday

Also known as the Granite Town of South West Scotland, Dalbeattie sits within the Urr Valley on the River Urr and provides access to the picturesque Solway Coast with its miles of beaches and fishing villages. Around Dalbeattie there are plenty of country walks and great opportunities for golfing, fishing and mountain biking, with the famous 7stanes Mountain Bike Trail in Dalbeattie Forest.
