This apartment is situated approximately 6 minutes walk from the west end of Princes street. There are so many places to eat nearby, just a couple of minutes walk. The apartment was warm (we went in January) and the decor in keeping with the Victorian style in that area. The kitchen was modern and well equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Early evening we experienced a little noise (traffic, sirens, people) but this died down later and the bedroom is at the back so quitter anyway. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days stay and would go again, mainly because of the location.

We stayed here 21st-28th December & absolutely loved the apartment! When we arrived the heating was on so it was a lovely warm greeting. The lounge is huge yet cosy & comfortable, the bed was comfortable & the kitchen well equipped. The location....perfect! A 5 minute walk to Princes Street & 20 minute walk to the castle entrance. There is a parking space at the rear of the property which advises ‘suitable for a small car’ - we have a VW Passat Estate & apart from careful manoeuvring to get through the gate posts, the area to park is really spacious. The price to stay over the Christmas period was unbelievable, such a bargain! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again & will definitely recommend to friends.

This is the second time we have been at this apartment and will be back.. It is so handy to the town and someone that can not walk to far we discovered that you can get a bus at the back of the house into Princess Street. The apartment is only 1 mile from the bust station. As we have free bus passes We always use the bus to get to Edinburgh as there is so much you can do in the city that does not need a car.

Excellent location for visiting Edinburgh and the flat has character as well as all the essential comforts when away from home.. It is also excellent value for money and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Scotland`s capital city.

Great location - five minutes from Princess Street and the gorgeous Dean Village. We had a superb winter break - the flat has real character - and ideal for a visit to our capital city and all its attractions. Our one reservation was the parking (if you have a large car MPV etc) owner does warn you of this - but just be extra careful.

Wonderful location, the flat was very nicely decorated in a super Georgian building.. Bed was comfy, the toaster was a bit erratic but you can’t have it all! Would go again.

This is a really convenient place to stay.. 5 min to princess street and a bus on the opposite direction takes you to the sainsburys store which if walking a mile away. If taking the car the flat has a secluded place for parking. Flat very comfortable.
