Area
Between the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, in Scotland's Central Lowlands, sits the lively town of Falkirk. In addition to hosting famous tourist destinations like The Kelpies, The Falkirk Wheel, and the Rosebank Distillery, the town is best known for hosting a number of historical battles, including the Battle of Falkirk and the Battle of Falkirk Muir, in which Scottish hero William Wallace was killed in the former.
