Take a ten-minute stroll to the private Brejos Beach and listen to the sound of the Atlantic waves lapping the shore (or, if you’re like us, simply relax on the golden sands in the Portuguese sun). The villa itself is surrounded by sand dunes and the central Comporta signature rice fields. Unwind on the outdoor sofa with a glass of wine while the breeze rustles through the bamboo plants, then enjoy some sardinhas assadas (grilled sardines) at the table shaded by the wrap-around veranda. Inside, large sliding doors allow light to flood in, and high ceilings create an airy feel, which we love. This stylish, open plan room is perfect for entertaining your family or friends. Another feature we like here is the main bedroom with its access to the terrace – we can imagine waking up refreshed and heading out for a spot of yoga.
