The Igreja do Carmo and the Livraria Lello bookshop are within walking distance, and the nearby public transport links put you in good stead for wider exploring. The home’s minimalist decor isn’t the most inspiring and may not suit those looking for a characterful stay. But its sixth-floor position means wonderful views over the city’s rooftops, best enjoyed from the dining nook’s window or the main bedroom’s small private balcony.
