It makes an excellent base for sightseeing – you're close enough to explore on foot, but still tucked away from the hustle and bustle in livelier neighbourhoods. Spend your days roaming along the postcard-pretty Praça da Ribeira, sampling Portuguese cuisine at the local cafes and discovering the hidden gems that lurk down every alleyway. Then, following your adventures, make your way home to this cosy flat and unwind in style. Stretch out on the sofa to rest weary legs before rustling up something to nibble on in the kitchenette.
