This cosy villa is tucked away in the Bonfim neighbourhood of Porto. Bonfim is known as one of the city’s most traditional areas, full of local shops, small cafes, and authentic Portuguese restaurants – there’s also a real sense of community. When you want to see more of Porto, you need only walk a short distance to Campo 24 de Agosto station to hop on the metro. The villa is attractive, warm, and welcoming. Inside, you’ll find vibrant decor, while the outside space is centred around the petite private pool and the south-facing terrace.

It was formerly an industrial area, and in parts the architecture still bears traces of this. There’s a real mix of local businesses as well as trendy cafes and restaurants — a good fit for families or groups after a low-key base not too far from the centre....
