Tucked away in northern Madeira, this charming home offers a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Typically Madeiran in style, the interiors are are traditional and cosy, while outside you'll find picture-pretty terraces offering stunning views of the North Atlantic Ocean. The back yard features classic tiles, and is covered in colourful flowers and lush greenery, with numerous seating areas to settle down in. Spend serene mornings drinking tea or coffee and reading a book, as the smell of the surrounding flora carries on the warm breeze. If you fancy a little adventure however, we highly recommend a trip to some of local viewing points to fully appreciate the scenery. Take a short stroll to Miradouro da Ponta Delgada to look out over the deep blue ocean and forested cliffs – ideal for blowing away the cobwebs or a romantic walk with your other half. When you get home, get creative in the kitchen and try recreating some your favourite local dishes, then round off the day with a few glasses of wine on the balcony while watching a magnificent sunset.
