The interiors are almost as eye-catching as the vistas, but the contemporary design is far from uninviting – instead, there are lots of comfy spots to hang out, from the open-plan living space to the games room (complete with a home cinema and pool table) and the sauna. Plus, it's just a ten-minute walk to the chic bars, markets, and cafes of Funchal, meaning you can have a relaxing coastal break with a dose of culture.
