This one-bedroom apartment probably won't win any prizes for interior design, but it's in a super-central part of town and has two fabulous sun terraces to enjoy. We especially love the direct access to the larger one (which is a proper sun trap!) from the master bedroom.

Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay.
