After a dose of culture, head into the adjacent Pastéis de Belém, to sample the finest custard tarts in the city. For the sunseekers, the beaches of Cascais can be reached in thirty minutes by train. Meanwhile, if you happen to be visiting during the football season, there's nothing quite like cheering on Os Belenenses at the nearby Estádio do Restelo.
