Dual-aspect Juliet balconies in every room. Beautiful aesthetics, inside and out. And an unbeatable location in Lisbon's most cosmopolitan district, Santos. This place has got it all going on. Behind the apartment building's beautifully restored facade adorned in oh-so-Portuguese azulejos tiles, you'll find the most stylish of homes. Rattan accents and objets d'art bring layers of interest, while over in the light-flooded bedroom, you'll find one hug of a king-sized bed to wake up in with freshly brewed coffees (the pod machine can help with that). After hectic days ambling Lisbon's streets, sink into that butter-soft butterfly chair (glass of punchy ginjinha optional) as you soak up the street life below through the Juliet balcony windows. The sound system will bring all the ambience as you rustle up dinner in the contemporary, made-for-action kitchen. Though with so many buzzy cafes and restaurants on your doorstep in the waterside district of Santos, we wouldn't blame you if you for dining out instead. One of Lisbon's oldest neighbourhoods, this former stomping ground for the city's aristocrats now attracts architects and artists who have established a hip community of glossy shops, eateries, and clubs to keep the night flowing. And you're just a few minutes from downtown with plenty of transport options when it's time to blaze a trail to another corner of the city. Didn't we say this place had it all going on?

About Santos

Lisbon has many areas that can be described as cool, but Santos seems to be wearing that crown for the moment. Sun-soaked and open, this neighbourhood is home to the beautiful pastel-coloured buildings ubiquitous in Lisbon. If food is your passion, you’ll find plenty of great eateries in Santos. Modern restaurants have been carefully installed in rustic, worn buildings – the blend of old and new here is oh-so-charming. The...
