Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This delightful two-bedroom apartment is located within the beautiful and extremely characterful neighborhood of Bairro Alto, home to some of the city's best bars. In fact, it's rare to find such a spacious apartment with its own garden in this part of town, so this is pretty special in that aspect. The bedrooms and kitchen might not set your world on fire design-wise, but the main living space and garden are fab and more than compensate.

Home truths

The kitchen is on the small side and isn't super sociable on account of being separate from the main living space

Although there is an elevator, there are still a few steps to negotiate and two of them are outside and quite steep

It's in an area that has quite a buzzy nightlife so there might be some associated noise in the evenings

It's a mainly pedestrianised area so it's basically impossible to park nearby

The artwork in the bedrooms is a bit generic and inconsistent with the otherwise stylish interiors

About Saldanha

Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay. The traffic connections are fast and abundant, meaning most parts of Central Lisbon are only a short train ride away.
