With its blue and white-tiled exterior, you’ll be charmed by this home before you even step foot in the apartment. Once inside, however, you'll find a setting that's just as charming. Tastefully restored, this apartment still shows off its original features, but now they sit happily alongside all the mod cons you could want. A fusion of rustic and contemporary, we love the bold teal statement walls and the clever use of mirrors to reflect light back into the rooms – which, by the way, are bathed in natural light that streams in through the generous windows. From your home in Santos, explore Lisbon at your leisure. As you take in the array of colourful buildings that this city is so well known for, make sure you stop off somewhere for a coffee and pastéis de nata as you make your way to the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, the Elevador da Bica, Pink Street and the famous Time Out Market – all within easy walking distance.
