Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Situated in a quintessentially Portuguese apartment building in the heart of Lisbon, this cosy home is the perfect setting for your next getaway to the City of Seven Hills, boasting all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We love how the host here has used soft furnishings to bring the simple interior to life, especially in the open-plan living area where we could easily see ourselves whiling away the evening, glass of wine in one hand and a good book in the other. Savour your morning coffee at the four-seater dining table then set off for a day of exploring with your fellow guests. You’re within easy reach of all the obvious attractions here – think Lisbon Cathedral and Rossio Square – but you’ll also have a whole host of independent restaurants and bars at your fingertips, ideal if you want to spend your evenings out and about. Sample some of the city’s best cuisine as you listen to live Fado music then head home for a well-deserved rest, the soulful sound of the guitar still ringing in your ears.

Home truths
While this apartment can sleep up to four people, we think it would be most comfortable for three guests – the double sofa bed in the living area is best suited to one adult or two children.
Your host can provide a cot, high chair and baby bath for free upon request.
This home is in a central spot, so noise is to be expected .
We think some areas of this home could do with a refresh. In particular, the bathroom tiles look a little tired.
You may need to bring your own toiletries with you to use during your stay.
You won't need a car in Lisbon – instead of driving, explore the city on foot or take advantage of public transportation.

Local guide
About Saldanha
Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay. The traffic connections are fast and abundant, meaning most parts of Central Lisbon are only a short train ride away.
