Dreamy blue views await at this coastal villa. The private pool, sunny roof terrace and a few bedrooms all offer panoramas of crystal-clear waters. The interior doesn't quite stack up to the scenery, but it's got plenty of space, inside and out – and, with a barbecue and complete kitchen, cooking at home is a breeze. That said, Albufeira's Old Town is a short walk away, offering shops, restaurants, bars and cafes if you fancy something more local for dinner. Of course, a trip to the Algarve isn't complete without a few days at the beach – Praia do Peneco is less than ten minutes on foot.

Although the WC isn't photographed, expect the quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
This home is spread out over several levels. There's a ground-floor bedroom here, with the remaining rooms on the first and second levels.
The swimming pool isn't fenced. Little ones will need to be supervised at all times.
The nearest supermarket is a two-minute walk away if you need to stock up on supplies.
The patio isn't in the best condition, and some of the bedrooms are a bit plain.
A car isn't necessary here, but it may be handy to have one for adventures further afield. There's private parking available.
