Shower/WC, double hand-basin. Upper floor: 2 rooms with sloping ceilings, each room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with sloping ceilings, without window with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. Terrace. Terrace furniture, deck chairs (2). Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. Smoke alarm. Bookings accepted for holiday purposes only.

Location Description Ditzum

Well-known fishing village with 650 inhabitants 1 km from lake, 10 km from Emden, 23 km from Leer, 29 km from Aurich. In the resort: supermarket, shops, bakery, bank, restaurant, museum. Sights Kirche in Ditzum, Kunsthalle Emden, Altstadt Groningen (NL) 70 km, Wellness park Friesentherme Emden, Fontana Resort Bad Neuschanz (NL) 27 km, Kids' club Leeraner Modell- und Spielewelt 19 km. Papenburg 43 km. Bad Zwischenahn 71 km. Norddeich 84 km. The idyllic Sieldorf with a colorful fishing port and traditional brick houses is located in the Rheiderland, south of the Ems, immediately before the confluence with the Dollart, across from Emden (car-ferry connection). The Ems offers a variety of sailing, surfing, fishing and swimming opportunities. The Dollart with its mudflats leads the interested observer into a unique flora and fauna interplay of the tides. There is an official swimming and surfing facility at the old Dyksterhusen oil rig. In the village: bike rental, tea room, a multitude of small shops, harbor cafés and restaurants, fresh fish and shrimp sales in the harbor, cutter trips, day trips with the excursion boat ‘Dollart Route’ to Delfzijl (NL), from May to October passenger ferry to Borkum every Thursday . In Ditzumerverlaad (3 km) boat rental (canoes, kayaks) .. Hiking trails. Ideal cycle path network, including the international Dollart route (180 km) and the German Fehn route (163 km). Für uns war es ein sehr schönes Erlebnis dort Urlaub zu machen. Es war eine Last Minute Buchung und wir waren positiv überrascht. Drumherum ist weites flaches Land und sehr viel Ruhe. Wer so etwas sucht ist da genau richtig. In der Nähe sind gute Radwege und direkt die niederländische Grenze. Ausflugsziele sind auch jede Menge vorhanden und gut erreichbar. Alles in allem ein schönes Erlebnis.

Das Ferienhaus war innen wie außen verdreckt und ungepflegt. Die Möbel waren Sperrmüll geeignet. Wasserkocher war innen total schwarz wurde nach Rückfrage sofort ausgetauscht. Die Kochplatten musste ich erstmal von den Verkrustungen befreien. Überall hingen Spinnweben und Spinnen an den Wänden. Die Fußabstreifer hingen voll wahrscheinlich mit Hundehaare. Die ehemals weißen Gartenmöbel sahen total verdreckt aus. Die Wohnung sah aus, wie lange nicht bewohnt. Fotos können angefordert werden.
