On the edge of one of Mexico’s most celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Sites – the city of San Miguel de Allende – this home is designed to have its guests make the most of its location. Set in a gated community with 24/7 security, it’s also set up for guests to take advantage of the sun – take a dip in the pool, shared with the community’s other residents, then have dine alfresco in the afternoon with a cold Corona. Take a free shuttle to get to the city, where you can stroll through the colourful cobblestoned streets and admire the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with its pink neo-Gothic spires.
