Set in a prime position perched up above one of Venice's canals, this apartment lets you sit and watch the gondolas without even having to leave the comfort of your holiday home. When you do want to venture out though, you'll find yourself on the doorstep of many of the city's most stunning sights and attractions, with San Marco Square based just a short stroll away. Inside the home is compact yet stylish, with contemporary furniture and art combined with the original exposed beams, creating a cosy-yet-classy vibe. Being in a historic building, there are a few flights of stairs to get to the flat – but we reckon the view is worth it.
