Venice locations don’t get much better than this. Overlooking the Grand Canal, you can watch passing gondolas and water taxis from the living room and master bedroom of this historic Palazzo. And the world-famous St Mark’s Square is just a three-minute stroll away. We love the history of this home – it’s been in the same family for nearly 200 years, and some of the furniture is original, dating back to 1826.

Home truths:
*Children under 6 years old are not allowed due to the antique furniture.
*Although there's a lift in the building, there are stairs between the lift and the apartment. It's approximately five steps down and six up, and they're relatively shallow.
*Housekeeping services are provided every morning here.
*A welcome hamper with a bottle of Bellini, bottled water, and fresh fruit will be waiting for you on arrival.
*You'll have access to a terrace here. It's shared with the building's other residents.
*You may use the palazzo's private dock on arrival and departure days for water taxi transfers to and from the airport. Your host can recommend a water taxi company for ease.
