Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This freshly renovated apartment in a historic building has not one, but two small balconies overlooking the beautiful Santa Giustina Canal in the heart of the Castello district. If you’re looking to house three guests here, one will be on a sofa bed in the living space – just something to note. Out and about, the neighbourhood has an array of antique ateliers, local food shops and tempting osterie and bacari (traditional restaurants and bars). Or go for a stroll around the Biennale Gardens, while San Marco Square is eight minutes on foot.

About Castello

Castello represents a cluster of islands at the eastern edge of Venice’s centre. It’s a quieter side of Venice, without too many tourists. All this changes, however, during the Biennale. This behemoth of the art world takes place in odd-numbered years, and is housed in the former shipyards that give the quarter its name. When the exhibition isn't on, you’ll find museums and ornate churches to explore, and an abundance...
