Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Close to the Venetian Arsenal and the Biennale Gardens, this apartment offers a stay in one of Venice’s more residential neighbourhoods, perfect for those looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds. Though the decor is more practical than characterful, the space isn’t without its charm, with exposed brick walls and large arched windows overlooking the communal courtyard. Though space will be limited should you choose to use the sofa bed, the home benefits from two bathrooms which are bound to make mornings smoother ahead of a day of sightseeing. We recommend taking the water bus one stop to Lido beach, particularly in the summer.

About Castello
Castello represents a cluster of islands at the eastern edge of Venice’s centre. It’s a quieter side of Venice, without too many tourists. All this changes, however, during the Biennale. This behemoth of the art world takes place in odd-numbered years, and is housed in the former shipyards that give the quarter its name. When the exhibition isn't on, you’ll find museums and ornate churches to explore, and an abundance...
