This home used to be a medieval watchtower dating back to the 14th century, but today it provides a rustic escape in the Umbrian countryside. We love the sweeping views of the countryside from the top floor, and the traditional living spaces are what you’d expect from a historic building – think brick archways and exposed stone walls. More active guests will appreciate the private tennis court, home gym and swimming pool, but it’s easy to relax here on a sun lounger with a book, too. When you’re ready to explore, the hilly village of Todi is a short drive away, where you can hike up to see its famous domed church.
