While the best spot in the house to take in the views is on the first-floor balcony, you'll find plenty of shaded spots to cool off after exploring the surrounding nature – there's direct access to the local walking trails through the forest. Inside, we love the locally handmade furniture pieces bringing a cosy aesthetic to this hideaway. The house is in San Leo Bastia with a small shop, bar, and restaurant, and you'll find the city of Umbertide with even more choices around 20 kilometres away.

*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. Please note the swimming pool is closed from October to April.
