If you're seeking tranquillity, this elegant country house is perfect. Having undergone a refined renovation, it's a successful mix of the traditional and the modern, with its contemporary comforts alongside exposed stone walls and wooden beams. Relax in the pretty garden bordered by a hedge for privacy – we adore the vistas over the tapestry of fields in the distance from the swimming pool. Later, fire up the brick-built barbecue and enjoy an alfresco lunch in the portico or the second dining area under the shade of a pergola. This home is ideal for a group of friends or family who want privacy as upstairs are two mini-apartments connected internally to the main house but with a separate entrance from the mezzanine floor. On the ground floor, there's also a suite with independent access – here, you'll find a kitchenette and bathroom, as well as a bedroom. Situated in the Val di Cecina, you'll find unspoilt countryside, dotted with gorgeous towns such as Volterra, eighteen minutes in the car. There are many Roman remains to visit, like the Roman Theatre, or take some photos of the central Palazzo dei Priori with its medieval frescoes and a bell tower. All in all, this home will make your Tuscan holiday dreams come true.
